Cherry Mobile is smoothly hitting the stores with their new line-ups of Android devices. After Cherry Mobile SkyFire 2.0 and Cherry Mobile Flame 2.0 which are on sale for P7,999 and P6,999 respectively, the company unveiled the successor of the 2-month old Omega HD - the Cherry Mobile Omega HD 2.0.
The company's latest handset is almost similar to its predecessor except that underneath the hood is a more powerful a quad-core chipset (MediaTek MT6589) and clocks at 1.2GHz. Aside from sporting a 5-inches display, Omega HD 2.0 employs a high resolution of 720 x 1,280 IPS-LCD display under a scratch-resistant Dragontrail glass. It comes with a 12-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front-facer supported with backside-illumination technology or BSI. It is equipped with PowerVR SGX544 graphics and 1GB of RAM. Cherry Mobile Omega HD 2.0 is backed-up with internal storage of 4GB and has a microSD card slot for storage expansion of up to 32 GB. The mobile device runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and is powered with a 2,100mAh battery.
Cherry Mobile Omega HD 2.0 is the 3rd Generation of Omega series and is now paving its way to select retailers with a price tag of P8,999.
